Organizational Structure
President
The President is the chief executive authority of the Panchayat. Leads the development activities and administrative procedures of the Panchayat.
Vice President
Provides support in administrative activities. Discharges administrative duties in the absence of the President.
Standing Committees
Committees that control development, finance, health, and educational activities of the Panchayat.
Development Standing Committee
Aims at implementing development projects of the Panchayat, public welfare, and infrastructure development.
Finance Standing Committee
The committee responsible for managing and controlling the income and expenditure of the Panchayat.
Health and Education Standing Committee
The committee responsible for overseeing health and educational activities.
Welfare Standing Committee
The committee that implements public welfare schemes and aims at social welfare activities.
Other Sub-Committees
Committees formed for specific sector activities, offering assistance to various schemes and programs.
Assistant Secretary
Assists in the administrative and office activities of the Panchayat. Oversees correspondence, records, and coordinates various welfare schemes.
Accountant
The officer who manages the financial transactions and accounts of the Panchayat. Prepares and maintains income-expenditure records.
Clerk
Staff handling various records in the Panchayat. Manages taxes, permits, and office services.
Senior Clerk
Staff supervising office records and coordinating various office administrative procedures.
Office Attendant
Staff assisting in the day-to-day office operations and general service activities of the Panchayat.
1. Grama Sabha
The general assembly of citizens in the Panchayat. Discusses development plans, public needs, and welfare activities, and suggests decisions.
2. Grama Panchayat Committee
The governing body composed of elected public representatives. Controls the development and administrative affairs of the Panchayat.
3. President & Vice President
The key administrators of the Panchayat. Lead all administrative measures and activities.
4. Standing Committees
Specialized committees functioning in sectors like development, finance, health, education, and welfare.
5. Panchayat Secretary
The chief executive officer of the Panchayat. Coordinates office operations, file management, and administrative implementation.
