Poomangalam Grama Panchayat

Annual Plan Document 2026-27

Development Vision and Brief Overview

Introduction

The journey of democratic planning has imparted experiences of extraordinary progress and meaningful transformation, completely altering the face of rural Kerala. Drawing from a quarter-century of developmental experience, we are stepping into the fifth annual plan of the 14th Five-Year Plan. We must embrace historical responsibility by incorporating modern scientific achievements to deliver the fruits of sustainable development to our community.

The limitations of resources, combined with the abundance of public needs and responsibilities, present challenges before us. Nevertheless, by moving forward with unified hearts, vigilance, and teamwork, we can achieve remarkable results. The progress of our locality and the welfare of its people remain our sole objective. Expressing sincere gratitude to the elected representatives, planning committee members, working group members, and staff who wholeheartedly cooperate and assist in these endeavors, this annual plan document is humbly submitted.
